What You’ll Learn

 The Emergency First Responder (EFR) course consists of 3 parts:
  • primary care or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Automated External Defibrillator use
  • Oxygen use
  • secondary care or First Aid

Emergency First Response Primary Care or CPR teaches you how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. This part of the course consists of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to help you gain the confidence to help if you encounter emergency situations.

Emergency First Response Secondary Care or First Aid covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening.
