PADI Rescue DiverThe PADI Rescue Diver course will expand your knowledge and experience beyond the purely personal level because you'll learn to look beyond yourself and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence. Who? Anyone 15 years or older (12 years for PADI Junior Rescue Diver) and in reasonably good health, who holds a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, Junior Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent certification and the Emergency First Responder or equivalent certification can participate.What? Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. During the in-class, in-pool, and open water sessions you'll cover:
How long will it take? 1-2 evenings of class, an evening in the pool and 1 day in the open water. Prerequisites:
Cost:$250 - Includes: class, pool and open water training. Participants are required to have full scuba equipment, pocket mask, PADI Rescue Diver manual, log book and current first aid and CPR. Educational Materials: You will need to purchase the Rescue Diver Crew Pack $68.11 which is available in-store at AquaSub. Additionally you may want to purchase the Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving which will assist you in your understanding of diving equipment, physiology, and much more. Transportation and Accommodations: You are responsible for arranging your accommodations and transportation if necessary. |
