What others say about us
I got my start in scuba diving at AquaSub with Norbert & Jessica and I’ve trusted them to have my back as my safety divers. They are still my trusted dive shop and I would recommend them to anyone interested in learning to dive or already diving!
I highly recommend AquaSub for anyone who wants to have a great travel and dive experience. We couldn’t have enjoyed our experience more – fabulous instruction, great diving, a fun group of people, and since AquaSub knows the facilities and dive shops where they go, there are no bad surprises, only good ones! I can’t wait to go on another trip with AquaSub.
In 2011, I went on a 7 day live aboard dive trip in the Bahamas with Blackbeard Cruises. AquaSub took care of the travel arrangements and I met Jessica for the 1st time at the marina. As a new OWC, Jessica took care of me from Day 1. She buddied up with me on Dive 1, my 1st deep dive (down to 100 ft) and my 1st night dive. She gave me a lot of good tips and I got in a lot of dives on that trip because of the confidence I gained by diving with Jessica. AquaSub takes care of you whether you’re in the shop, making travel plans, or below the surface.
I highly recommend AquaSub, I have been diving in Ontario for 3 years and I have never had a bad experience with AquaSub. The recreation and technical diving equipment they offer is top notch and they are always running trips to exotic locations too! If you are a new or experienced scuba diver, you can’t go wrong with AquaSub.
My experience with AquaSub was welcoming, informative and fun. I was introduced to AquaSub by a friend and former employee, he introduced me to Jessica who was both my trainer and owner of this PADI dive shop. My goal was to start my open-water certification before traveling to Indonesia last April to complete my training and travel/dive with my fiancée. AquaSub gave me the training, tools and referral so that I could complete the open-water tests 15,000 km away. Now that I am addicted to Scuba, I look forward to progressing through the ranks and AquaSub will be the first place I call.
I discovered Aquasub on the web just over a year ago while I was looking to go on a dive trip and had no one to go with. From my first phone call to them inquiring about their group trips I have been impressed. I immediately felt welcomed and that my safety, my business and my enjoyment were a top priority. I am just getting ready to go on my third group trip with them and can’t imagine travelling any other way. I have also taken a number of courses with them, dived locally and bought much of my equipment from them. It is not often that a business makes you feel like you have under paid for a service, but Aquasub went above and beyond. I started with Aquasub as a nervous new diver, and can now say that I am a much more confident and knowledgeable diver. I highly recommend travelling with them to complete your open water or take additional courses, you will definitely come home feeling like you learned more then what is in the course material. It will be obvious after meeting Jessica and Norbert (the owners) that they have a lot of pride and love for their business and your diving enjoyment!
